Enquire about a session

Behind every successful business are people

When those people feel calm, focused and supported, they do their best work. When they do not, it shows up long before anyone files a sickness note: broken sleep, short tempers, people going quiet in meetings, decisions taking twice as long as they should.

Most of us were taught to push through rather than process. Park the difficult conversation, hit the deadline, get on with it. Do that for long enough and you stop being able to tell what you are feeling at all, which is precisely when judgement starts to slip.

Most wellbeing initiatives stop at awareness. Your people already know they are stressed. What they usually do not have is something practical to do about it at three o'clock on a Tuesday afternoon.

What changes

  • Stress comes down and burnout risk drops
  • Focus, clarity and productivity go up
  • Emotional intelligence and communication improve
  • Resilience and adaptability under pressure get stronger

“Happiness inspires productivity.”

What your team learns

Every session is built from these five, weighted to what your team is actually dealing with. Some groups want the whole toolkit. Some want one piece of it done properly.

Mindful reset techniques

Breathwork, micro-pauses and embodied awareness. Short enough to use between meetings, which is the only reason anyone actually uses them.

Heart-focused resilience

Drawing on somatic and psychological research into how the body actually recovers from pressure, rather than how we wish it did.

Self-regulation practices

For the specific things that derail people: overwhelm, performance anxiety, imposter syndrome, the meeting you have been dreading all week.

Stress-relief tapping

My signature tool, and the one teams are most sceptical about beforehand. A physical technique for calming the nervous system in about ninety seconds.

How tapping works

Leadership evolution

For the people whose steadiness sets the tone for everyone else. Clarity, presence and sound judgement when the pressure is genuinely on.

A closer look at the tapping

This is the part people raise an eyebrow at, so here is the mechanism up front rather than asking you to take it on trust. If your team would rather have the mindfulness and resilience work without this, that is a perfectly good session too.

The stress response

When we perceive a threat, physical or psychological, the amygdala fires and the body shifts into fight, flight or freeze. Useful in a genuine emergency. Far less useful when it is being triggered by an inbox.

What it costs over time

Chronic, prolonged production of cortisol and adrenaline shows up as insomnia, overeating, panic, raised blood pressure, heightened anxiety and steadily dropping performance.

Where tapping comes in

Stimulating those points while feeling the emotion sends an I am safe signal to the amygdala. The body switches out of threat mode into rest and recovery, which stops the cortisol and adrenaline. Most people feel the shift within minutes.

Once someone has learned it, it is theirs. No app, no equipment, no appointment, and no need to tell anyone they are doing it.

Ways to work together

Every session is shaped around what your team is actually carrying, and you choose how much of the toolkit is in the room. The prices below are starting points. I will quote properly once I understand the scope.

Taster session, or lunch and learn

Sixty to ninety minutes. An introduction to the tools, why they work on the nervous system, and a guided practice so people leave having actually done it rather than just heard about it.

The easiest way to test the water.

From £450

Resilience workshop

Half a day with a smaller group. We go properly into the practices and work on the themes your team names: overwhelm, presenting, difficult conversations, imposter syndrome, change fatigue.

Best with a group small enough that everyone gets attention.

From £750

Workshop plus tapping script coaching

Half or full day, for teams who want the tapping piece in depth. Everything in the workshop, plus individual support to write their own scripts using my template, so people can apply it to whatever comes up next.

Small group, individual attention.

From £950

Executive and 1:1 sessions

Private, confidential sessions for leaders, high performers, and anyone who needs more than a group setting can offer. Often used as part of a wellbeing budget or alongside an existing EAP. Online or in person.

Blocks of sessions available.

From £120 per session

Wellbeing series and ongoing programmes

A three to six week series, or a programme running across a quarter or a year, so this becomes something your team keeps using rather than a one off good day. Typically a taster to open it up, workshops for the teams who want to go further, and 1:1 capacity held for anyone who needs it.

What people say afterwards

Sarah Tobin leading a group tapping workshop

“I’m really pleased Bupa would bring something like this to the workplace. It could make a big difference to people who are feeling stressed with work or personal issues.”

Workshop participant, Bupa Global

“I feel this will be a great tool to quickly use in different scenarios where you need that extra push and support, together with the videos online. Sarah was brilliant at training the material and sharing with passion this course. I’m looking forward to carrying this on in the future.”

Workshop participant

“My 1:1 tapping sessions with Sarah have helped me to take control of my public speaking fear. I went from turning down opportunities in my business because I was so terrified of standing up in front of any amount of people, to successfully completing a pitch to a room full of people. I can’t describe what this has done for my confidence and my business.”

Pamela Farrell, The Brand Edit

“I just wanted to thank you so much. I had an interview last Thursday and just found out I’ve got the job. As I hadn’t interviewed for such a long time I used the tapping technique and it REALLY helped. It made such a difference to me, Sarah.”

Workshop participant

“I have already shared my learning with some of my internal colleagues who were particularly interested in this subject and how it would help them.”

Sarah Tobin, EFT practitioner and trainer

Who you would be working with

I am Sarah Tobin, an EFT practitioner, trainer, and author of Tapping into You.

I came to this work through my own experience rather than a career plan. After the loss of my first daughter, Alice, I was carrying undiagnosed PTSD and rising anxiety. My first session of EFT shifted something that counselling and various other approaches had not. I qualified in EFT Levels 1 and 2 and Matrix Reimprinting in 2018, and I have been teaching it ever since.

Since then I have trained practitioners across the UK and Ireland, run workshops in Brighton, Worthing, London and Dublin, and delivered regular corporate tapping workshops for Bupa Global.

What that means for your team: someone who has used this under real pressure, who explains the mechanism before asking anyone to try anything, and who is perfectly comfortable in a room full of sceptics.

The practical bits

In person or online

In person across the UK and Ireland, or over Zoom for distributed teams. Both work well. Tapping does not need a room.

No kit required

No mats, no changing, no equipment. People stay in their work clothes, at a desk or in a meeting room.

Group sizes

Tasters work well up to 20. Workshops are better at 8 to 10, and script coaching at 4 to 6, where everyone gets individual attention.

Nobody has to share

No one is ever put on the spot. People can tap on something entirely privately and still get the full benefit of the session.

Sceptics welcome

Tapping looks unusual the first time you see it. I explain what is happening in the body before we do anything, then people judge it on how they feel afterwards.
